SeaClear2.0 moving into murky waters!

Locating and identifying waste in reduced or zero visibility underwater conditions, such as ports, can be particularly challenging.

The SeaClear2.0 robotic system offers litter identification, localization, and mapping, even in adverse underwater conditions. To do so, our colleagues at Delft University of Technology have been developing an underwater litter database and applying advanced image and video detection algorithms, for improved litter identification.

Our colleagues at Subsea Tech, have also been working on the new and improved miniTortuga ROV, offering better litter detection.

Check out its latest gear:

  • Video enhancement software for its cameras
  • New, higher resolution sonar
  • Side scan sonar and Magnetometer
