Our colleagues at Isotech hosted a participatory workshop in Kristiansund, Norway, in collaboration with the RECLAIM project, one of the projects supported by SeaClear2.0.
During the workshop, participants discussed the main marine litter problems in their area, such as litter created by the marine, maritime and construction industries, and co-designed a range of solutions to address the most pressing marine litter challenges, including the mapping of historic landfills, the provision of incentives for proper waste management, the incorporation of more circular economy approaches in industry, etc.
This is the second in a series of eleven workshops implemented by Isotech Ltd within the framework of SeaClear2.0, collectively feeding into a broader policy analysis and a set of strategic recommendations aimed at tackling marine litter across Europe.
