Yesterday, the active members of the Beyond Plastic Med – BeMed Community of Practice gathered online to explore solutions for reducing pollution in the Mediterranean Sea caused by the fishing industry. During the meeting, Isotech Ltd, a SeaClear2.0 project partner, introduced the SeaClear2.0 project, as the autonomous robotic system that is being developed to help collect derelict fishing gear.
The objective of the BeMed Community is to unite its members and leverage their collective expertise to address the plastic pollution crisis in the Mediterranean.
