The SeaClear2.0 project was presented at KOS 2026, the 13th International Conference on Sustainable Solid Waste Management, taking place in Kos, Greece, from 24–28 June 2026.
Dr Xenia Loizidou, Civil/Coastal Engineer and Director of ISOTECH Ltd Environmental Research and Consultancy, presented SeaClear2.0 to an international audience of researchers, policymakers, municipalities, industry representatives and sustainability experts.
With marine litter, plastics, circular economy and sustainable waste management at the heart of the conference discussions, KOS 2026 provided an important platform to share SeaClear2.0’s work towards cleaner seas through innovative robotic technologies for marine litter detection and removal.
