SeaClear2.0 General Assembly in Cyprus – Day 2

The #SeaClear2.0 team started the day at Larnaca Marina, visiting the “ZEST” vessel—a zero-emissions ship addressing decarbonization challenges in the Cypriot coastal fleet.

Next, we headed to the CMMI – Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute, the host organization of the ZEST project, for a technical visit.

Our following stop was the Environmental Fluid Mechanics Lab at the University of Cyprus, where we met with Dr. Marina Neophytou, Lab Director and Professor of Environmental Engineering, to explore the lab’s setups with her team.

We concluded the day with a walking tour of Nicosia’s Old City, led by archaeologist and art historian Anna Marangou.
