Marine Robotics, EU policies and Marine Litter Management

#SeaClear2.0’s latest report examines the complex landscape of EU and international policies that influence marine litter collection and management. It also identifies the legal and institutional gaps, barriers and opportunities affecting the development and commercialisation of marine robotics and technologies, such as the SeaClear2.0 robotic system.

📊 The Policy Analysis Report sets the foundation for a series of workshops implemented at the SeaClear2.0 demo and pilot sites and Associated Regions. The workshops aim to develop actionable stakeholder-supported policy recommendations to accelerate the adoption of innovative marine litter prevention and remediation solutions and will culminate in an international policy roundtable and a co-created Policy White Paper.
