Hamburg: O visibility!

Known as Germany’s “Gateway to the World”, Hamburg Port is not only an economic hub, but also a major tourist attraction.

For SeaClear2.0, it offers a unique spectrum for showcasing the robotic system’s capabilities.

The type of litter found at the port (from former ship building and fishing activities in the area, and large litter items such as scooters, vehicles, and shopping carts) but also its turbid currents and murky waters will pilot-test the system’s technologies for locating and identifying waste in zero visibility conditions.

SeaClear2.0 demos and pilots kick-off with our Hamburg pilot, scheduled for June 2025!

Learn more about the marine litter hotspots and typology at our demo and pilot sites.
