The Fraunhofer Center for Maritime Logistics and Services CML develops innovative solutions for the maritime sector and the maritime supply chain. The Fraunhofer Center for Maritime Logistics and Services CML supports companies and institutions from shipping, port management and logistics in initiating and implementing future-oriented technologies and processes.

Fraunhofer CML is leading the work package concerned with the concept and technical specifications of the SeaClear2.0 system. Fraunhofer CML’s team is developing a marine litter database of  which will be used to train the system’s AI aspects  in the guidance, navigation and control modules for the shuttle tender USV. This will enable shuttle tender USV’s deployment  with the main USV. The team is also working on system integration ensuring the correct functionality between the robotic system and the shore server applications.
