SeaClear2.0 and Symbiosis Project hosted an Educational Day at the Marine Recycling Center in Sotenäs Municipality, for Ocean Week “Havsveckan”.
The day started off with a beach cleanup and guided tour at the Recycling Center🔬 Our young participants were then split into two groups, with one group learning how to analyze plastics using the interactive tools found at the Center. The other group participated in a creative workshop using litter collected during the beach cleanup and recycled materials from the Centre to transform marine litter into sea creatures! The imaginative artworks will be exhibited at their school during the West Coast Ocean Week “Västerhavsveckan”.
