Today, we chat with Cosmin Delea, Researcher at FraunhoferCML, about their work on the design and fabrication of the SeaDragon.
The SeaDragon is the second Uncrewed Surface Vehicle (USV) of the SeaClear2.0 robotic system and it is used to deposit the collected litter. To do this, SeaDragon docks stern-to-stern with SeaCAT and maintains its position until the collected waste has been deposited in its litter bay. The SeaDragon then sails back to the coast to unload the collected waste.
