Are you working to revitalise fishing communities? Participate in our Call for Expression of Interest for projects that empower coastal regions and safeguard marine ecosystems. Whether your focus is on sustainable fishing practices or community-based aquaculture ventures, this Call provides you with the opportunity to propel your vision forward. Selected projects will gain access to technical assessments and feasibility studies that will provide expert support towards protecting and restoring marine and freshwater ecosystems and biodiversity, preventing and eliminating pollution of our ocean, seas, and waters and making the sustainable blue economy carbon-neutral and circular. The primary goal of this technical assistance is to empower and strengthen the selected projects, propelling them towards impactful outcomes aligned with the Mission Ocean and Waters objectives and targets

The objective of Mission Ocean and Waters is to restore the health of our ocean and waters by 2030. This Mission is designed to deliver on the European Union’s 2030 targets for protecting and restoring ecosystems and biodiversity, for zero pollution and for the decarbonisation and reduction of net greenhouse gas emissions towards climate-neutrality, within the EU’s ocean, seas and waters.
