Tecnosub hosted a series of activities and events in Tarragona, Spain, including the project’s last scheduled demonstration, marking an important milestone for SeaClear2.0!
♻️ Saturday, 24 October | Public Engagement & Cleanup
Tecnosub, together with PlasticFREEwave, organised a cleanup activity, bringing the local community together to take action against marine litter. The day also included a public and media demonstration of the SeaClear2.0 system, highlighting the importance of combining technological innovation with citizen participation.
🤖 Monday, 26 October | Final Demonstration & Policy Workshop
Isotech Ltd and Tecnosub also held an Industry Presentation and Policy Workshop, welcoming 15 participants from different sectors, including public authorities, environmental agencies, academia, tourism, engineering and marine services. The workshop provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on marine litter challenges and explore how innovative solutions can support their management.
The highlight of the day was the successful demonstration of the SeaClear2.0 robotic system, showcasing its capabilities in real-world marine conditions and its potential to support cleaner seas.
