Day 5 of the Internal Pilot in Hamburg and today’s trials begin with testing the SeaDragon’s docking onto the SeaCAT. In this way, waste collected during the collection phase, would be deposited into the SeaDragon and transported to shore.
In the video, we also see some of the tests performed with the SeaClear2.0 robotic system’s smart grapple, for the autonomous collection of litter identified by the system’s detection robots.
